That's right, not a Friday Funny, but a Friday Fantastic.
I started watching this video and thought, "oh cool, I did a drill ride like this in high school." Then around 0:46 I realized I did NOT do anything of the sort. You'll have to see it for yourself.
Disclaimer: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. And for goodness sake, wear a helmet. And with that said, on to the video.
These horses -- and riders -- are incredible.

Fixed! Sorry about the technical difficulties! Enjoy the video :)
ReplyDeletewhoa. those horses are unflappable! those guys are intense I would not want to run into them at a horse show!
ReplyDeleteWow, those horses are amazing athletes...and the riders are in pretty good shape too! :-)
ReplyDeletewoowwww. I gotta say, i kinda want to go in the show ring and try some of those tricks now, just see the reaction.
ReplyDeleteCrazy! All I can think about is the potential problems that could arise - can you imagine if you were standing on two horses and cantering up to a jump, what if one horse decided to refuse? Scary, but very, very neat. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! That's amazing! Thanks for sharing this! :)
ReplyDeleteWow!! How amazing is that!!
ReplyDeleteNote to self... do not go up against Russian Cossack riders. You will die. Or be terribly humiliated.
ReplyDeleteAh ha hah ha ha ha ha h ah ah hahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totaly!!

I watch videos like this and start to get ideas. Then I realize I am NOT that coordinated. I like the black horse in the middle of the video who looks downright alarmed by some of the stunts. I want in on this! They look like they're having so much fun. Yeah... let me get right on that...
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I am now trying it on my horse! She dos not like it.
ReplyDeleteNote to self: ab exercises. Lots of them. Also, I will officially never be afraid of jumping anything again because it will not (I hope) be on fire. These guys are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe one and only time I have ever been on a horse, I was focusing on not falling off into the canyon on my right (we were out west). Despite years of you riding, I'm still boggled by how you go flying over jumps with Tucker...but good golly, this video and these crazy riders take the cake!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I am speechless!!! I was on a drill team too when I was a kid and it totally made me laugh when you said "oh cool, I did a drill ride like this in high school. Then around 0:46 I realized I did NOT do anything of the sort." As the video progressed it just got more hairier, scarier and insane! Very, very cool! Amazing horses!
